Food In Singapore

It was well past 12am when I first arrived in Singapore. The weather was a complete opposite to that of New York. Instead of cold and dry, it was hot and humid! I was famished even though I had at least 3 meals during my 20 plus hours of flight. So...... my cousin and his wife thought it was fairly good idea to take me to East Coast Hawker Center for a midnight snack. You think, "in the middle of the night??". Yes, my friend, a lot of the hawker centers in Singapore opened past midnight until dawn, and even 24 hours. And we had, chicken & beef satay, BBQ sting fish and mee goreng. I missed these food for 4 years in USA. It was such a thrill to taste these delicious dishes. And for my following 9 days in Singapore, I tasted and researched for delicious and exotic local cuisine. I must thank my friend for this rare opportunity. If it was not for their wedding, I hadn't even thought of returning to South East Asia for this expedition~!!! I would also like to thank my cousin and his wife for taking me to some of the most delicious restaurants and hawker center, period~!!!
